One-on-one initial assessment with a Physiotherapist, followed by an 8-week exercise program led by a kinesiologist. Programming includes strengthening, stretching, balance activities, endurance and self-management education on common challenges such as weakness, stiffness and fatigue. This program is best suited for people recovering from or living with:
- Multiple sclerosis
- Guillaine-Barre syndrome
- Dystonia, Parkinson’s disease
- Post-polio syndrome
- Huntington’s disease
Participants must be able to walk independently with or without a walking aide or be accompanied by an attendant.
Classes are twice a week for 8 weeks.
