NeuroFit

NeuroFit is an 8-week exercise program for adults living with neurological conditions. Led by a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, participants attend two supervised classes per week to improve strength, balance, mobility, endurance, and confidence through safe exercise. An initial Physiotherapy Assessment ensures individualized programming.

Suitable for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Stroke, Guillane-Barré syndrome, Huntington’s Disease and other neurological conditions. 

*Participants must be able to walk independently, with or without a walking aide, or be accompanied by an attendant.

 What’s included:

  • Physiotherapy Assessment: A comprehensive 1-on-1 initial evaluation by a Physiotherapist to assess your baseline mobility, safety, and personal goals, ensuring your exercise plan is tailored to you.
  • 16 Supervised Group Classes: 8 weeks of twice-weekly, targeted exercise sessions designed to improve strength, balance, mobility, endurance, and confidence.
  • Expert Clinical Leadership: Direct guidance and instruction from a certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist with specialized knowledge in neurological rehabilitation.
  • A Safe & Supportive Environment: Attentive expert supervision designed to accommodate walking aids or personal attendants, ensuring you feel comfortable and secure throughout every session.
  • Personalized Exercise Programming: Small-group instruction that adapts to your unique neurological condition and daily capabilities.
  • Outcome Evaluation: Objective baseline testing conducted during your initial intake and repeated upon program completion, allowing you to clearly see measurable changes in your physical function and mobility.
