What is TRX?

TRX Push-Up
...Holding your body in a neutral position with your core engaged, extend your arms and angle your body to the appropriate end range of motion. Bend your elbows to 90 degrees, keeping your body straight. Push through the handles and return to the start position.

Face the connection point, stand with feet shoulder-width apart. Extend arms forward. Holding your body in a neutral position with core engaged, angle your body to the appropriate end range of motion. Drive elbows back as you bring your shoulder blades together, avoiding scapular elevation throughout the movement.

TRX Squat
Extend your arms at shoulder height, palm facing down. Bend your knees to a 90-degree angle and lean back slightly to reduce stress on the knees. Maintain tight straps as you return to starting position.

TRX Lunge
Secure one foot in the strap, face away from the connection point, keep your hands on your hips and chest upright. Bend your grounded leg until your thigh approaches a parallel position with the ground. As you bend, your opposite leg will reach back and away from the midline of your body.

Forward Lunges
Step forward and lower your body, flexing hips, knees, and ankles, maintaining a neutral spine. Push through front heel to extend hips, knees and ankles and return to starting position—alternate legs.

Reverse Lunges
Take a long step forward. Distribute body weight evenly between the front heel and the back toe. Keeping the chest lifted, flex through the knees to lower the body toward the floor—alternate legs.

Weighted Lunges
Add difficulty to the exercise by incorporating weights. Hold weights in your hands, your arms hanging by your side and keep your shoulders back.

Walking Lunges
Step forward and lower body, flex the hips, knees, and ankle, and maintain a neutral spine. - alternate legs
