Barre Boot Camp combines traditional Barre techniques that tone, tighten and lengthen, with interval training. Small fitness props such as gliders, tubing and mini stability balls will be used in Barre Boot Camp. This athletic style, full-body workout will complement your training – shake up your workouts and keep your muscles guessing.

Barre Classes at Wellness

Barre classes at Wellness happen in our Barre Studio, located on the bottom level north end of the facility.  Designed to sculpt and tone your entire body, these classes combine elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga for a low-impact, high-energy workout.

Day 5 Announcement: In September we are launching a round of new Programs at the Clinic.
First up, a Running Assessment for all levels starting in September. This will include a Physiotherapy biomechanical exam, a Functional Movement Screen, Video Running Analysis and a customized exercise and... training program.
An Evening GLA:D Program starting on September 13 for a 7 week program. This program uses neuromuscular exercises which focus on the muscles controlling the joint as it moves, helping those with Osteoarthritis.
Neuro-Fit Program, an 8 week exercise program led by a kinesiologist. The program is best suited for people recovering or living with: Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Guillaine-Barre, Dystonia, Parkinson's Disease, Post-Polio Syndrome, and Huntington's Disease.
Last but not least, a Golf Assessment and Training Program! This 4 week, self directed training program contains an Initial Assessment, Follow-up review with the goal of improving your golf game.

Day 4 Announcement - Barre Classes! Barre workouts are a fusion of yoga, Pilates, strength training, and dance. Barre classes incorporate specific sequencing patterns and isometric movements that target specific muscle groups. This pattern of exercise helps to improve strength, balance, flexibility... and posture.
Barre classes are low-impact and are conducive to all fitness levels and ages. Classes deliver a results-driven workout that is not only fun and dynamic, but it will sculpt your body

You don't need to worry about having any dance experience in order to take a Barre class, because our Barre instructors teach you with the intent of progression.

We have the following classes; Barre Star, Barre Bootcamp, Athletic Yoga, and Power Burn Pilates on the Reformer.
