Starting June 15, work will begin to repair a leaking waterproofing membrane in the women’s steam room. While this work is necessary for the safety and continued enjoyment of our wet areas, it is a complex project and will require some area closures. Work is expected to take approximately 6 weeks to complete.

Imae of map showing the described closures

1. June 15 – Women’s Steam Room Closes

The steam room door will be blocked off at this time. Workers will access the steam room through the back wall to begin demolition.

2. June 22 – Hot Tub Closes

As the work progresses, protective hoarding will be installed to give workers full access to the steam room area while providing privacy for members using the locker room and showers. The hot tub and direct shower access from the pool will close at this time. Members will still have access to the shower area through the remaining door.

3. June 27 – Shared Access to Pool

When the pool reopens on Saturday, June 27, female members using the pool will temporarily share the access hallway between the locker room and pool with workers. Privacy screening will ensure that there are no sight lines into the locker area.
