The Wellness Institute App Support

How do I get set up with the Wellness Institute App?

Membership includes access to the Wellness Institute app.

New members will automatically get an email invitation sent from noreply@mywellness.com to create a mywellness account.

If you are an existing member and need an invitation sent, please email info@wellnessinstitute.ca.

Links to download the app will appear after you choose a password. Open the Wellness Institute App, use your email and newly created password to log in.

Once you have successfully logged in, the app will not require you to enter your credentials again. If you log out and forget your password you can hit the 'recover password' button on the login screen.


Can I access On-Demand Videos outside the app?

Yes,  you can access On-Demand Videos on any device with a browser.  Click here for On-Demand Classes

Log in with the same credentials you set up when installing the app. Hit the 'forgot password' to reset the password through your email address.


How do I reinstall the Wellness Institute App after I've changed my phone?

If you already have your account set up but are setting it up on a new phone or have uninstalled after you were initially set up, you can install the app with the buttons to the right. 


What is the difference between the Wellness Institute App and Online Services?

Online Services is available at wellnessinstitute.ca/log-in. It enables members to:

  • see upcoming class schedules and enrol in classes
  • register for seasonal programs
  • see your upcoming classes, programs and bookings
  • book badminton/pickleball courts
  • book massage appointments
  • see account history, make payments and set up default payment methods

In addition, The Wellness Institute App also:

  • gives members access to exclusive on-demand classes
  • has feature programs with workout routines you can follow
  • has hundreds of exercise demonstration clips to show you proper form
  • allows you to track your workout with some equipment automatically and manually enter other exercises
  • includes outdoor activity tracking for walking, running and cycling
  • highlights the results of your hard work, displaying the results in graph form
  • gives you easy access to Online Services from the app

How do I log into Online Services through the app?

Using Online Services through the app is an easy way to access all of your Wellness Institute information in one place.

Use the login and password you use at wellnessinstitute.ca/log-in/.  We suggest that you use the option to save your login and passwords on your device to make this process easier.  If you do not know your log in and password, please see the front desk or email info@wellnessinstitute.ca to get your credentials.

While using the app, simply click the Login to Online Services link on the main page to go directly toOnline Services. Click DONE in the top left corner to return to the app when you are done.

How can I connect my phone to the supported cardio equipment?

Put your phone down on the portion of the equipment with the NFC logo. You can also click the QR code reader button in the app's top right to scan QR codes using your phone's camera.


How do I use the Wellness Institute App to Swipe-In at the Front Desk?


How do I use the Featured Programs?

There is a selection of Featured Programs with a suggested exercise program for different skill levels. Once you have selected a plan, it appears in the My Movement section of the app. When you scan the equipment that is part of your Featured Program, it will pre-populate the sets and reps based on that program. If you change these values, they will remain there for the next time you work out.

How do I connect my Apps and Devices?

On the app home page, there is a section called 'connect your apps and devices'.  Through this section you can see Google Fit on Androids and iHealth on iPhones.  By connecting these accounts you can start collecting 'Move Points' through the pedometer and any other tracking through those services on your phone.  There are also buttons to connect other services including:

  • FitBit
  • Garmin
  • MapMyFitness
  • MyFitnessPal
  • Polar
  • Runkeeper
  • Strava
  • Swimtag
  • Withings

What are MOVEs or Move Points?

MOVEs are Technogym's unit of movement measurement, so the more you move, the more you'll collect.  For example, running for 10 minutes at low intensity accumulates about 200 MOVEs, the faster and longer you run, cycle, row, or whatever your favourite exercise is, the more MOVEs you'll earn.

The mywellness app will keep track of your MOVEs day after day, and thanks to the MOVERGY INDEX, you will be able to view your overall activity status in an easy, intuitive way.
