Pilates is an extremely adaptable exercise practice that helps to condition your core, strengthen abs and improve flexibility. Pilates may use a specially designed piece of equipment known as a reformer, mat exercises or a combination of both to either add support or intensify your workout.
In addition to being a great workout, Pilates can also help to relieve back pain and rehabilitate injuries. The postures you learn will support you in athletic activities as much as it will everyday activities like transferring loads at work, carrying groceries or lifting small children. Our personal Pilates trainers can create a plan that goes from gentle and supportive for beginners, to intense and rigorous for people wanting a challenging workout.
All private Pilates sessions are led by a professional Stott Pilates instructor who has experience as a fitness leader and is Manitoba Fitness Council certified.
