A Fusion of Block Therapy and Stott Pilates
Most of the class will be spent learning the self-care practice of Block Therapy, which effectively melts through fascia congestion and restriction.
Over time the fascia tissues can develop into adhesions with a strength of up to 2000 lbs/sq inch. Foam rollers and tennis balls have too much give to provide long-term relief. The block reaches deeply into soft tissue to release tightness, reduce pain, and improve mobility.
Since some body pain is a result of muscle weakness, classes include a sprinkle of strengthening Pilates exercises.
Drop-in to Join Us
Join us for classes regularly to build your confidence for your own practice or drop-in when you need a little extra self-care. Pre-paid packages of 3, 5, or 10 classes are available at front desk for your convenience. Check-in at front desk prior to a class then join us in the yoga studio.
