Managing Stress & Building Resilience
We offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other strategies to help you build stress-management skills. Chronic stress can can worsen or increase the risk of obesity, heart disease, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, depression, anxiety, gastrointestinal problems, headaches, and asthma. Our team can support you to build resilience and skills to adapt to significant sources of stress.

Kamara Tayo-Jones
Social Work Therapist; MSW, RSW, BA.Sc
Kamara holds a Master’s of Social Work degree and a Bachelor of Arts & Science degree in psychology. She is a registered social worker with the Manitoba College of Social Workers and has worked in health and social services for over 21 years. Kamara has been an instructor for the University of Manitoba and provided mental health services in regional health programs. In her current role, she supports clients to manage chronic diseases, promote healthy behaviour change, and improve healthy living.

Cheryl Swanson
Cognitive Behaviour Therapist
Cheryl holds a Master’s degree in psychology and has worked in hospital settings in Toronto, and long-term care in Winnipeg. She also has experience in disability management and occupational health and is a Psychological Health and Safety Advisor. Cheryl specializes in CBT with people in the context of work. She brings her understanding of the complexities of disability insurance and occupational health to her clinical work.

Supporting the Recovery of Clients
Disability Management
We work with case managers to offer group and individual support for clients and injured workers who are having difficulty coping following injury, accident or diagnosis of illness. Onsite and virtual appointments are available.
